2026 Canadians and Special Awards Banquet
Event Date: Saturday, June 27, 2026, 6:30pm-8:00pm
Location: St. Andrew's United Church
Where: 6036 Coburg Rd, Halifax, NS
Who: All athletes, coaches, officials, IST that attended 2025 and/or 2026 Canadians Championships, GNS Special Award Winners and GNS Bursary Award Winners. Guests are able to bring 2 additional people to this event.
Registration and other: There is no fee but we ask that you please register in Uplifter up until June 20th, 2026. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.

What is a Mixed Gender Open Competition:
The Open Gymnastics Challenge is designed to celebrate gymnastics in an inclusive, supportive, and exciting environment. This event allows athletes of all backgrounds and experience levels to participate on any apparatus they wish, regardless of traditional discipline or gender divisions.
Cost: $25/participant

What is Gymnaestrada: A non-competitive demonstration event that celebrates participation, community and promotes the spirit of gymnastics for all.
Clubs create group routines to perform on a spring floor with dance and limited acrobatic skills. Groups can be comprised of all ages, can be co-ed and should include athletes of all skill and developmental levels.
Cost: $10/participant
